WHO in Lao People’s Democratic Republic developed two videos to showcase the successful implementation of Community-Led initiatives to eliminate Schistosomiasis by combining deworming with WASH interventions (CL-SWASH) project in Khong District, Champassack Province to share with the other Greater Mekong sub-region (GMS) and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries.

The video was screened at the opening of the United Nations Round Table Meeting (RTM) in Lao PDR in November 2017. It highlighted the work of the Environmental Health and Water Supply (Namsaate) and Department of Communicable Diseases Control (DCDC).
