HeRAMS Annual Report 2023

Overview

The HeRAMS annual report 2023 highlights significant achievements, challenges, and developments within the Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) Initiative. Key accomplishments encompass the development of a geospatial modeling service, providing decision-makers with accurate insights into populations lacking access to essential health services. Additionally, thanks to the introduction of a new API, HeRAMS now features a comprehensive master facility list service.

Throughout 2023, six new HeRAMS projects were launched, expanding the total number of supported projects to 30 across 27 countries. Moreover, the strengthening of monitoring activities has resulted in the submission of over 100 000 updates, underscoring HeRAMS' capability to monitor trends in the operationality of health systems, even in challenging environments.
