HeRAMS Mali status update summary report October 2024

A comprehensive mapping of availability of essential services and barriers to their provision

Overview

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention.

HeRAMS has been deployed in Mali since 2019 and has allowed for the assessment of 3139 health service delivery units and 3398 community health workers across the country. This analysis was produced based on the data reported up to October 17, 2024. While this HeRAMS deployment is ongoing and data verification and validation continue, the analysis presented here is not final and has been produced solely to inform operations.
