HeRAMS Ukraine Status Update Snapshot: May - October 2023 (Ukrainian version)

Overview
The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders with vital, up-to-date information. This system is dedicated to monitoring the availability of critical health resources and services, thus playing a crucial role in identifying existing gaps and establishing intervention priorities.
HeRAMS has been operational in Ukraine since November 2022. The current report offers an up-to-date status of the health facilities within Ukraine, with a specific focus on the availability of essential services and the challenges impeding access to these services. It is important to note that the deployment of HeRAMS is ongoing, including data verification and validation. Hence, this analysis is not final and was produced solely for the purpose of informing operations.
The findings presented in this report are derived from data collected between May and October 2023. this comprehensive dataset includes 11,523 records, which encompass information from over 2,300 public health facilities and more than 9,000 health service delivery units across various oblasts, including Kyivska, Chernihivska, Sumska, Kharkivska, Donetska, Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Mykolaivska, Odeska, Khersonska, Zhytomyrska, Vinnytska, Cherkaska, Poltavska, Khmelnytska, Rivnenska, Kirovohradska, Volynska, Lvivska, Ternopilska, Chernivetska, Ivano-Frankivska, Zakarpatska, and Kyiv City.
HeRAMS is not only instrumental in addressing immediate healthcare needs but also contributes to long-term planning and recovery efforts in Ukraine.
