WHO will broadcast a webcast forum of two doctors from Wuhan, discussing best practices and difficulties in managing clinical choices for COVID-19 patients

In view of the imminent risk of widespread community transmission of COVID-19 in Thailand, clinicians and hospital administrators have an urgent need to be informed of cutting-edge strategies to save lives and reduce transmission.

WHO Thailand will organize a live video broadcast for Thailand Ministry of Public Health technical staff and practicing clinicians across the country. This 90-minute broadcast will include the following speakers with first-hand experience of a large scale COVID-19 outbreak:

An intensive care physician to discuss the management of critically ill patients
Professor Bin Cao, Chief, Pulmonary Medicine, Capital Medial University, Beijing, China
(30 minutes + 15 minutes Q & A)

A hospital administrator to discuss staffing, resource limitations, infection control and triage.
Dr Liu Zheng, Head and Neck Surgeon, Vice President of the Tongji Hospital in Wuhan
(30 minutes + 15 minutes Q & A)
